Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sun Valley can't hold off Kennett

The Kennett Blue Demons basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Sun Valley Vanguards to 36 in the Blue Demons league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Demons now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quakertown for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Kennett will battle a Panthers team coming off a 50-21 league loss to Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-9.
The Vanguards (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Upper Merion Area was nudged by Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA), 32-28, in a league match.
