The Kent County Trojans basketball team (Worton, MD), was nudged 40-38 in Thursday's league battle with the host Queen Anne's County Lions (Centreville, MD)
The Lions now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Easton for a Bayside - North battle on Tuesday, January 31. Queen Anne's County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 51-12 league loss to North Dorchester (Hurlock, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
The Trojans (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Caroline (Ridgely, MD). The Bulldogs come into the Bayside - North battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, North Caroline was nudged by Kent Island (Stevensville, MD), 47-28, in a league battle.
