Virginia High School Basketball - Wythe can't hold off L.C. Bird

The L.C. Bird Skyhawks basketball team scored 2 points and held the host Wythe Bulldogs to 0 in the Skyhawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Skyhawks now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Virginia Disciples for a non-league contest on Monday, January 30.
The Bulldogs (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers enter the Dominion contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Manchester nudged Cosby (Midlothian, VA), 62-27, in a league contest.
