Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McKenzie Eagles (Finn Rock, OR), 45-9 in a league bout.

With the win, Mohawk upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Days Creek lost 32-25 in their recent league bout against Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR) in a 1A Mountain West bout, on Tuesday, January 31. McKenzie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record.
