Memorial Tigers (West New York, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ), 35-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Memorial upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Weehawken won 46-24 in their recent non-league bout against McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. McNair Academic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 51-43 non-league loss to Belvidere (Belvidere, NJ).
