The Voorhees Vikings basketball team (Glen Gardner, NJ), was toppled 48-36 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ)
The Lions now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillsborough for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Mount St. Mary Academy will confront a Raiders team coming off a 57-34 non-league win over Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 9-7.
The Vikings (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Wolfpack come into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, West Morris Central beat Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ), 48-34, in a non-league battle.
