Wonewoc-Center Wolves (Wonewoc, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Necedah Cardinals (Necedah, WI), 55-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wonewoc-Center upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to La Farge (La Farge, WI) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Brookwood Falcons (Ontario, WI) in a Scenic Bluffs bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Necedah will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 61-25 non-league win over De Soto (De Soto, WI).
