The Phillipsburg Stateliners tipped the host North Hunterdon Lions basketball team by a final score of 48-43 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Stateliners (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Warren Hills Regional got by Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ), 48-34, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Summit for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. North Hunterdon will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 51-27 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-12.
