Alabama High School Basketball - St. John Paul II routs Oakwood Academy

In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oakwood Academy Mustangs (Huntsville, AL), by a count of 77-19.
The Falcons (20-6) will now prepare for their outing against Section (Section, AL). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Section was crushed by North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL), 72-42, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL) in a 1A Area 15 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Oakwood Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 52-28 league win over Athens Bible (Athens, AL).
