The Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN) basketball felled the visiting Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN), 56-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Meigs County (Decatur, TN). The Tigers go into the 2A District 3 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Meigs County thwarted Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN), 38-8, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to York Institute for a non-league test on Monday, January 30. Oneida will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 57-21 league win over Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 20-2.
