Idaho High School Basketball - St. Maries nudges Orofino

January 26, 2023: St. Maries, ID 83861

St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Maries upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Grangeville (Grangeville, ID) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Central Idaho bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Grangeville lost 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Kamiah (Kamiah, ID)

Next up, the Maniacs clash with the Lakeside Knights (Plummer, ID) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Orofino will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
