California High School Basketball - Placer succumbs to Ponderosa

The Ponderosa Bruins topped the visiting Placer Hillmen basketball team by a final score of 55-35 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley game, on Tuesday, January 31. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 22-2 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 13-9 record after their 49-47 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).

With the defeat, Placer moves to 10-13 on the year. The Hillmen host Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to face the Fighting Zebras in a Foothill Valley game on Tuesday, January 31.
