Tennessee High School Basketball - Polk County topped by Walker Valley

The Walker Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Polk County Wildcats to 36 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ooltewah for a 4A District 5 contest on Friday, January 27. Walker Valley will battle a Owls team coming off a 87-33 league loss to Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Owls record now stands at 3-11.
The Wildcats (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Rams come into the 2A District 4 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Tyner Academy prevailed over Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
