Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pope John Paul II thwarts Pottstown

The Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) basketball knocked off the host Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA), 54-36 in Thursday's league test.

The (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). The Indians go into the Pioneer test with a 1-19 record. In their last test, Upper Perkiomen went down by Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA), 41-15, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Phoenixville for a Pioneer test on Tuesday, January 31. Pottstown will encounter a Phantoms squad coming off a 32-28 league win over Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA). The Phantoms record now stands at 10-7.
