The Woodbridge Barrons held off the visiting South Plainfield Tigers basketball team by a tally of 60-54 in Thursday's league battle.
The Barrons now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middlesex for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Woodbridge will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 63-29 non-league win over Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bluejays record now stands at 13-2.
The Tigers (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Canucks come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, North Plainfield was nudged by Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ), 72-55, in a league battle.
