The Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) basketball nipped the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), 59-54 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons go into the DuKane test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Wheaton North was tipped by Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 52-46, in a league test.

The Fighting Saints now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Schaumburg for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. St. Charles East will encounter a Saxons squad coming off a 53-36 league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 15-10.
