Maryland High School Basketball - Wise tops Suitland

January 26, 2023: Forestville, MD 20747

Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD), 57-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wise upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Pumas host Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to play the Panthers in a Prince George's County 4A bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Parkdale lost 47-44 in their recent non-league bout against North Point (Waldorf, MD)

Next up, the Rams play the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Suitland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 80-8 league win over Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD).
