C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC), 21-18 in a league bout.

With the win, C.B. Aycock upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Golden Falcons travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to play the Trojans in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-4. South Johnston lost 34-26 in their recent league bout against Fike (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Warriors play the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. East Wake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
