California High School Soccer - Miramonte knocks off Concord

Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Matadors confront the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Miramonte will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Dons enter the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Alhambra (Martinez, CA).
The Minutemen now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Diablo for a Diablo - Valley challenge on Monday, January 30. Concord will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-6.
