New York High School Ice Hockey - Saranac knocks off Plattsburgh

The Saranac Chiefs trounced the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets ice hockey squad by a tally of 7-0 in Thursday's league bout.
With the victory, Saranac betters its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to confront the Green Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Green Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
The Hornets now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Placid for a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bout on Tuesday, January 31. Plattsburgh will confront a Bombers squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY). The Bombers record now stands at 0-1.
