Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles (Cambridge City, IN), 50-12 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northeastern upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 0-11. Randolph Southern lost 55-33 in their recent league bout against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Cambridge City Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
