North Carolina High School Basketball - East Duplin nips Southwest Onslow

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) and the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), saw East Duplin's basketball squad hold off Southwest Onslow by a count of 43-41.
With the victory, East Duplin upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the Stallions play the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Southwest Onslow will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
