Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 49-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Sundevils host Taos (Taos, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Taos won 57-41 in their recent non-league bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 71-29 non-league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
