The Aberdeen Bobcats basketball team (Aberdeen, WA), was nudged 65-61 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA)
The Grizzlies now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eatonville for a 1A Evergreen battle on Tuesday, January 30. Hoquiam will confront a Cruisers team coming off a 59-38 league loss to Tenino (Tenino, WA). The Cruisers record now stands at 6-11.
The Bobcats (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Shelton (Shelton, WA). The Highclimbers come into the 2A Evergreen battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Shelton edged Rochester (Rochester, WA), 67-33, in a league battle.
