Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Adamson Leopards (Dallas, TX), 49-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sunset upgrades its record to 7-17 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Wilson (Dallas, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 30. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 16-11.

The Leopards (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Hillcrest (Dallas, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region II District 11 battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, Hillcrest was toppled by White (Dallas, TX), 53-49, in a league battle.
