Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN), 63-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alden-Conger upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial won 93-72 in their recent league bout against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Loyola will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 79-68 league win over Martin County West (Sherburn, MN).
