California High School Basketball - Montebello thwarted by Alhambra

The Montebello Oilers basketball team (Montebello, CA), was toppled 48-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA)

The Moors now possess a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Polytechnic for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Alhambra will confront a Panthers team coming off a 72-51 league win over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 17-5.

The Oilers (12-14) will now prepare for their battle against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Matadors come into the Almont battle with a 12-13 record. In their last battle, San Gabriel beat Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA), 69-51, in a league battle.
