The Mountain Home Bombers basketball team (Mountain Home, AR), was nudged 53-50 in Friday's league battle with the host Alma Airedales (Alma, AR)
The Airedales now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van Buren for a 5A West battle on Tuesday, January 30. Alma will battle a Pointers team coming off a 58-53 league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Pointers record now stands at 16-7.
The Bombers (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Cyclones come into the 5A West battle with a 19-3 record. In their last battle, Russellville edged Van Buren (Van Buren, AR), 58-53, in a league battle.
