With the victory, Eastland improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Polo (Polo, IL) to play the Marcos in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Marcos come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Polo won 48-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton/Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA)

Next up, the Clippers play the Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Amboy will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Warren (Warren, IL).
