Virginia High School Basketball - Amherst County topped by Glass

The Glass Hilltoppers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Amherst County Lancers to 49 in the Hilltoppers league victory on Friday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookville for a Seminole contest on Tuesday, January 30. Glass will battle a Bees team coming off a 56-41 league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Bees record now stands at 3-13.

The Lancers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen come into the Seminole contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Liberty dropped by Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 56-41, in a league contest.
