The Tishomingo County Braves basketball team (Iuka, MS), dropped 59-51 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Amory Panthers (Amory, MS)
The Panthers now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ingomar for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 27. Amory will battle a Falcons team coming off a 69-30 league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 17-9.
The Braves (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Indians come into the 4A Region 1 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Itawamba Agricultural prevailed over Ripley (Ripley, MS), 69-31, in a league battle.
