The Birdville Hawks basketball team (North Richland Hills, TX), was nudged 65-60 in Friday's league battle with the host Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ryan for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Argyle will battle a Raiders team coming off a 51-35 league win over Denton (Denton, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 16-8.
The Hawks (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 4-20 record. In their last battle, Richland was nudged by Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 54-31, in a league battle.
