Astronaut War Eagles (Titusville, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Shore Wildcats (Melbourne, FL), 65-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Astronaut upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to Palm Bay (Melbourne, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 17-5. Palm Bay won 74-30 in their recent non-league bout against Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Sebastian River Sharks (Sebastian, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. West Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Sharks come into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 68-48 non-league win over St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).
