Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) and the host Ayala Bulldogs (Chino Hills, CA), saw Bonita's basketball squad overcome Ayala by a tally of 72-61.

With the victory, Bonita improves its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Claremont (Claremont, CA) to confront the Wolfpack in a Palomares challenge on Monday, January 29. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 5-21. Claremont lost 81-63 in their recent league challenge against Colony (Ontario, CA)

The Bulldogs (15-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators come into the non-league contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Marquez prevailed over Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA), 106-34, in a league contest.
