The Bacon Academy Bobcats basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Griswold Wolverines to 56 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tourtellotte for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Bacon Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-44 league win over Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.

The Wolverines (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Clippers enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Putnam was nudged by Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 46-41, in a league contest.
