Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County thwarted by Battle Mountain

The Pershing County Mustangs basketball team (Lovelock, NV), was toppled 60-49 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV)

The Longhorns (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons go into the 2A Northern outing with a 4-16 record. In their last outing, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was topped by West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 71-17, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host West Wendover for a 2A Northern outing on Saturday, January 27. Pershing County will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 71-17 league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-4.
