The Beach Buccaneers (Beach, ND) basketball felled the host New England Tigers (New England, ND), 66-57 in Friday's league test.
The Buccaneers (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Belfield (Belfield, ND). The Bantams go into the B District 5 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Belfield went down by Flasher (Flasher, ND), 54-37, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. New England will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 76-48 league loss to Wilton/Wing (Wilton, ND). The Cougars record now stands at 6-6.
