Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA), saw Neshannock's basketball squad wallop Beaver Falls by a tally of 77-35.

With the victory, Neshannock improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA) to play the Panthers in a WPIAL 3A 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Riverside won 50-26 in their recent league challenge against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Beaver Falls will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 68-21 league win over Leechburg (Leechburg, PA).
