Georgia High School Basketball - Benedictine over Burke County

January 26, 2024: Savannah, GA 31406

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA), saw Benedictine's basketball squad overcome Burke County by a tally of 60-45.

With the victory, Benedictine improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a AAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Southeast Bulloch won 85-49 in their recent league challenge against Islands (Savannah, GA)

Next up, the Bears confront the New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Burke County will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 83-45 league win over Wayne County (Jesup, GA).
