The Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) basketball crushed the visiting El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR), 73-45 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Arkansas (Texarkana, AR). The Razorbacks go into the 5A South test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Arkansas was trounced by Lake Hamilton (Pearcy, AR), 71-33, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Bluff for a 5A South test on Tuesday, January 30. El Dorado will encounter a Zebras squad coming off a 69-42 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, AR). The Zebras record now stands at 13-5.
