The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Quince Orchard Cougars to 50 in the Barons league triumph on Friday.

The Barons now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paint Branch for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Bethesda-Chevy Chase will battle a Panthers team coming off a 82-63 non-league win over Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.

The Cougars (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Wheaton was defeated by Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), 80-43, in a non-league contest.
