Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop Heelan Catholic upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Western Christian (Hull, IA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Western Christian won 75-53 in their recent non-league bout against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River bout, on Monday, January 29. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Black Raiders go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 86-59 league win over Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA).
