The Florence Buffaloes basketball team (Florence, TX), was overwhelmed 56-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX)

The Panthers now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Comfort for a 3A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 30. Blanco will battle a Bobcats/Deer team coming off a 68-37 league loss to Llano (Llano, TX). The Bobcats/Deer record now stands at 17-10.

The Buffaloes (1-18) will now prepare for their battle against Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX). The Warriors come into the 3A Region I District 5 battle with a 16-11 record. In their last battle, Ingram Moore trounced Blanco (Blanco, TX), 52-35, in a league battle.
