North Michigan Christian Academy Comets (Burt Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Boyne Falls Loggers (Boyne Falls, MI), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the win, North Michigan Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Loggers play the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Boyne Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Swordsmen go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 78-29 league win over Wolverine (Wolverine, MI).
