The Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD) basketball nipped the host Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 46-40 in Friday's league test.
The Railroaders (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The Lions go into the CMC test with a 11-3 record.
The Cougars now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Spring for a CMC test on Tuesday, January 30. Catoctin will encounter a Blazers squad coming off a 82-45 non-league loss to Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 1-12.
