In Friday's non-league outing, the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), by a margin of 77-43.

The Chargers (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers go into the AA Section 2 outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Blue Earth was trounced by Fairmont (Fairmont, MN), 82-49, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to New Ulm Cathedral for a A Section 2 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 66-52 non-league win over Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 11-5.
