The East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) basketball knocked off the host Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY), 65-52 in Friday's league test.
The Jaguars (11-9) will now prepare for their test against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Colts go into the District 46 test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, West Jessamine went down by Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY), 41-40, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Kentucky School for the Deaf for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Burgin will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 67-10 non-league loss to Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL). The Colonels record now stands at 0-8.
