With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Lions host Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Matawan Regional lost 87-74 in their recent league bout against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ)

Next up, the Governors confront the Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders (Piscataway, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Gold challenge, on Saturday, January 27. South Amboy will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 55-48 league loss to Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ).
