The Millennium Tigers topped the host Canyon View Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 69-53 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West game, on Thursday, February 1. Millennium will attempt to move on its 17-4 season record.

With the defeat, Canyon View moves to 19-3 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Westview (Avondale, AZ) to face the Knights in a 5A Desert West game on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights enter the game with a record of 11-9. Westview lost 67-62 in their recent league game against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ)
