Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), 70-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Tascosa upgrades its record to 20-8 on the season. The Rebels host Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX) to play the Dons in a 5A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Palo Duro lost 53-33 in their recent league bout against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Caprock will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 15-13 record after their 66-35 league loss to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX).
